Do you like learning history? [Why/Why not?]
When I was a child, I was not extremely interested in history, however as I became more mature, it started to gain my attention. Nowadays, I am interested in historical events and figures since they form a large part of our culture and traditions. Moreover, the actions of these individuals shape our lives today, which is a powerful idea.
Do you think it is possible to learn history from TV programmes/films? [Why/Why not?]
It is certainly possible to learn an element of history from watching TV programmes and films. Filmmakers have the ability to depict historical events and characters in a visual way based on theirperceptions of history. Nevertheless, the accuracy of these forms of media is questionable since they portray stories from the director’s point of view.
Do you think the Internet is a good place to learn about history?
Learning about history from the Internet has pros and cons. A benefit is that there are a large number of opinions available online and readers
can acquire knowledge from a variety of sources. On the other hand, these perspectives may be biased of factually incorrect since some of them could be hearsay.
