I’d like to talk about a trip in Australia with my friends. We rented a van and drove it directly to Ayers Rock ，which is a very sacred place for the ancient aboriginal people there. The climate in that place is very so dry that we drank tons of water on the hiking way. Actually , we planed to climb onto the giant rock because this is on the local must-do list.However ,due to the rainfall , for the slippery surface of the rock ,this climbing service was shut down temporarily. Therefore , we paid a visit to a art gallery displaying the aboriginal dots art. Then we sat on our van for the whole day to observe the giant rock.

In the morning , it is in dark red ,like a piece of pig liver. As the sunlight gets stronger, its color turn much brighter, as if it were a red radiant gem. When it was sunset , I turns very brown , like the color of chocolate . Watching the great rock and noticing its changes during different times of the day is a very amusing and mysterious experience .We really want to ride the time machine to see how ancient aborigines live in this area.
Another very impressive experience is that the original culture is well-preserved here in the art gallery. We could see the boomerang used for hunting by ancient people . How smart they were . The tool made of wood could help them hunt and meanwhile could be retrieved in a few seconds. When we marveled at their wisdom, the ancient civilization has been deeply respected.

1.  What benefits does public transport bring to the world?

There are countless benefits . People are more closely related to each other and the goal of globalization is well realized . In education field , students could go abroad to learn what they are passionate for . In trade and commercials , countries win more opportunities of cooperation with distant countries that they could not reach in the past.
2. ls it too late for people to get the driver licence at the age of 18?

Probably , 18 is still very early for them to drive. People over 18 have the priority of starting their professional study in college. Indeed ,driving ,brings much convenience for them if they live off campus. However, why they bother to live far when they could more conveniently access educational resources ,reduce air pollution and lower living expense by living close to campus?

3. What qualities does a driver need to have?

They must have several qualities, such as being observant to notice any passers-by ;Also ,they must be patient enough to wait for traffic lights and to obey the traffic rules. Before we become drivers , we also need to learn enough traffic knowledge and pass the exam ,so we must be inquisitive.
4. Do you think the government should make it a rule for people to use public transport?

I do not think so since there are indeed many occasions when people must use private cars. For example , if a family has a patient who are disabled or crippled ,they must use their own car to send him or her to hospital. Besides, there are many destinations in the countryside that can not be reached by public transport system .Apart from that , automobile industry is one of the primary economic pillars and the nation must take measures to ensure its sound growth instead of eliminating it.
